Registration Information 2999 Eggert Road, Tonawanda, NY 14150-7199 (716) 833-8647 HOW TO REGISTER: Complete the registration form and return it to the Religious Education Office. Full payment must accompany this registration form. St. Amelia Parish members have a full payment of $70.00 per pupil with the exception of a student preparing to receive a sacrament (Grades 2, 3 and 11), then a full payment is $100.00 per pupil. Non-parishioner families add $40 per pupil. You may pay by cash, check, MasterCard or Visa. . Registration form is due August 17th. You may send it in or drop it off before then. When you register before June 15; tuition will be reduced by $10.00 for each student attending a fall class only. (Please include a copy of baptismal certificate if student is new to our program and copy of report card from previous religious ed if older than grade 1) ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS: Classes are one hour and fifteen minutes in length and are offered two times per week. We will make every effort to give families their first choice, but since class size is strictly limited to 15 - 18 pupils, some may have to take a second choice. We assign pupils in the order in which registration forms are received at the office. If your child is in Gr. 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9 you have an option of a summer session, which will be held, July 9th – 20th 9:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. BUSSING: Bussing will be NOT be available this year. . HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: Teens need to attend classes and successfully complete 4 semesters, (or 2 years) of Religious Education to qualify for the Confirmation Program. This year the 9th graders will be offered a chance to attend the summer program (see dates and times above) or a Sunday night program from 6:00 – 7:30pm. Our tenth graders will be part of an “in-home” programs to be held in small groups for 2 semesters of 6 classes each. Students will then stay together in September for Confirmation Preparation. Days and times will be determined by the family hosting the students. FINANCIAL : Payment should accompany registration. In cases of extreme financial difficulty, you may contact Father Sibby explaining your current situation.
